In November of 2001, The Illinois Online Network conducted a survey to measure
the impact of the MVCR program and Faculty Summer Institute on the participants
teaching behavior. An e-mail message was sent to 516 faculty and staff who
had completed one or more MVCR courses or who had attended the ION FSI during
the 2000 and 2001, asking them to evaluate how MVCR or the FSI has affected
their development or delivery of online courses. 138 Web-based forms were
completed. The survey was open for two weeks.
