1. Who Owns a Copyright?
	n In most cases the person who created a work owns the work. n When the Work Made For Hire situation occurs, the ownership rules change. n The employer or someone else may still own it if it is created pursuant to a contract with an assignment of copyright. n Also note that giving a work to someone is not the same thing as giving the rights to a work.
